HW speaker

I worked with the yoga teacher,(sorry I am not good with remembering names)

and it didn’t work at the first time, so we switched the transistor but it still didn’t work.

Inspiring Material

1. Aluminum Grape spiral

What I found interesting about this material is that it can be resized easily. It can be integrated into an interactive piece. Last week I encountered one of the pieces of Heinz Mack at the Sperone Westwater gallery that reminded of this material.

2. Samples of Italian leather

IMG_4345In addition to the fact that leather is a very beautiful material especially in wearables and accessories, I found it interesting how leather has two different textures on opposite sides.

3. Conductive sponge looking metal

I forgot the name of this material but it is highly conductive plus aesthetically pleasing.

W8: Materials

Here are the materials I found interesting in the materials library last week:

photo-19

Waterproofing fabric, I like the 3 dimensional quality and how fine the weave must be to actually collect water!

photo-21

Metal grid in resin, this really has a glow about it, I like the harsh grid softened by the light.

photo-20

Kova textiles fabric, I like the the iridescent quality and interesting textures in the weaving
