So i tried using magnetic sheets to make the sound more audible, and it does actually make it a bit louder with the help of more neodymium magnets. It was easier to work with since the surface area is bigger. I also tried it with thread and it worked as well!

Lotus flower with flexinol

For this project I wanted to create a flower that would be covered by a leaf, and be revealed. However, working with the flexinol was very difficult, and the leaf only worked once as it burned. I tried other types of leaf too. Overall,  think this is a very tricky material!
