1) Finish your ATtiny circuit.
2) Before next class, I would like you to try learning a new craft. That’s it. NO electronics. Make a swatch (small example) that comes out of your learning. This could include any of the following:
Here are some tutorials from last year as inspiration (also, this was a much longer project last year – you do NOT need to go into this depth). There are also a TON of tutorials if you hit the Googles.
Next, create a post with an image of your swatch and reflect on the following questions.
After doing all of the above, write a blog post that answers the questions below. It doesn’t have to be long, but I would like you to spend a good amount of time reflecting on these:
3) Continue working on your midterm.
For this assignment, I use the earring that Tong Zhang made last week to make a switch to turn on/off three LEDs. The code that I am using is the analog fade code.
Here is the explanation gif for kids (work with Elly Lin):
(It takes a little while to load the gif, please wait…)
We used Dylan’s switch to create a circuits with 3 buttons and 3 LEDs (red, green and blue).
We then made a video to explain how the circuit works:
Here is a Arduino circuit with a custom set of 3 individual buttons that activate 3 separate LED’s.
Below the video with demonstrates how the circuit works, as if trying to explain it to a 5 year old.
