Quick Note on Posting
UPDATE:
Morgan let me know that yall don’t have the ability to create a new category, so I made one for everyone. Your name should now appear in the Category box. Sorry for the confusion!

Hey I can’t figure out how to add a new category… ?
Error: Unable to create directory /home/qdggy9wb8oer/public_html/cclabfall2012/wp-content/uploads/2026/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server? Liza

Go to the box that says “Category” right below the “Publish” button. At the end of the box, there is a link that says “Add new category”. Click it, type in your first name, then click “Add new category”. Don’t put it under a parent category. Here’s a visual:

There is no “add new category” option on my post page… maybe there are restrictions on our post options vs yours?

Ah ha – mystery solved! I went ahead and created a category for everyone. Thanks Morgan!
